Corpus Christi

A liturgy of Choral Evensong and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament on the Feast of Corpus Christi.

The preacher is the Revd Allie McDougall, priest in charge of St Paul's and St Stephen's Churches in Stratford. The choir will sing the Ayleward responses with canticle settings by Sumsion.

This liturgy has an intentional focus on the Body of Christ as an inclusive invitation by God to all people, in particular in the month of June, those who have been historically excluded on the basis of their gender or sexuality.
