Fresh Food Drive for St. Matt's

Today is the first day of this year's fresh food drive, with healthy produce ordered from Fiddes Wholesale Produce and delivered to St. Matthew's House. The food drive runs from March 13th until March 30th at noon, with produce delivered to St. Matthew's House by Fiddes on April 1. This is a joint effort / friendly competition with Melrose United. Last year, Melrose United donated 1005 pounds of fresh produce to Mission Services. St. John the Evangelist donated 1917 pounds of fresh produce to St. Matthew's House. Together, we were able to donate 2922 pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables to people who really need it!
