The Annual Vestry Meeting, to be held on Sunday, March 26, at 2.00 p.m. over Zoom, is the annual general meeting of the parish. It is a time to receive our annual financial and ministry reports, to elect parish officers, and to conduct other important business. It is a time to reflect on and celebrate what has been accomplished in the past year and to plan for the upcoming year by setting our ministry budget.
In preparation for this time, a written report is prepared and released before the meeting. All of the leaders of the various ministries of the parish are asked to provide a written report to be incorporated into this document. The deadline for submissions to email@example.com is Wednesday, March 1.
All parishioners are welcome to attend Vestry. If Saint John's is your church home, you attend worship here regularly and support the church financially, you are a member of Vestry and entitled to vote at our meeting. This year's Annual Meeting will again be held over Zoom, to encourage participation by as many parishioners as possible. (If online attendance is difficult for you, please speak to one of the wardens.)
The office remains closed due the the coronavirus pandemic and is opened only by appointment.
Preregistration is no longer required to attend worship services. Masking is no longer required, but is recommended.
We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that our parish is located on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples. We are located in the Lower Chedoke Watershed.
