St John's prays in many ways:
The Prayers for the Week. We pray for churches throughout the Anglican Communion, in the Diocese of Niagara, and those in our neighbourhood. In our own parish we pray for individual members, for those requesting prayers through the Prayer List (below), for parish groups/organizations and for the missions/partners we support.
The Prayer List. People who have requested prayers for their needs or thanksgiving for blessings received. These names are included in the Prayers of the People in worship. Only first names are used, the nature of the need or blessing is not mentioned. Contact the rector or the church office to add names to the Prayer List.
The Prayer Chain. A small group that prays daily about requests they are sent. The content of these requests is kept strictly confidential. Please email the Prayer Chain with prayer requests for the Prayer Chain.
The Prayer Team. Prayer offered during Sunday morning worship at 9:30 and 11:00. Please see the link to the left for details.
