While the Anglican Church knows nothing of church membership beyond baptism, those who regularly attend and support the life of a parish are considered "members" of the parish Vestry.
According to the Canons of the Diocese of Niagara all baptized persons who have reached the age of sixteen years, who regularly attend worship, and who support the parish financially, are entitled to vote at a meeting for the Vestry of a parish.
The Annual Vestry Meeting is for the purpose of receiving the audited accounts of the Vestry, and subsequently of electing and appointing Churchwardens and Lay Representatives and for the transaction of other business connected with the temporalities of the Church.
