Weekly Prayer for Sunday, August 17, 2025

In the Anglican Cycle of prayer, we pray  for The Scottish Episcopal Church 

In our Diocese of Niagara, we pray for our Bishop, The Right Reverend Dr. Susan Bell;  : St. George’s, St. Catharines, The Reverend Canon Martha Tatarnic, Co-Rector; The Reverend Thomas Vaughan, Co-Rector; The Venerable Marion Vincett, Honorary Assistant; The Reverend Dr. Doreen McFarlane; Honorary Assistant; and the people of that parish. 

In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for  Timothy, Dave, Susan, Steve, Emma, Duncan, Willa, Flora, Charles, Amy, Edwin and Yvonne. 

In our neighbourhood, we pray for  Local schools: St Joseph’s, Kanétskare Elementary School (formerly Ryerson), Earl Kitchener, Westdale--administrators, faculty and students – all who teach & all who learn, in our neighbourhood

Those in our parish for whom our prayers are requested, we pray for Bridget, Charles, Daryl, Don, Hal, Jennifer, Patti, Ryan, and Violet. 

In our groups and organizations within SJE, we pray for The Stewardship Committee, the Property Committee, the Climate Change Committee 

In our outreach and missions supported by by SJE, We pray for the Migrant Farmworkers Project, Niagara and Micah House
