Let's Build a Rain Garden at St John's

Help us transform the Church of St John the Evangelist with an extreme green makeover!

Garden Planting Day Saturday, April 30, 2022 10AM - 12PM

Join Green Venture, St John's, WaterFarmers and Avesi to build a stormwater management garden on Locke St.  Over two events the church and Kirkendall communities will be supporting the Green Venture team to build a rain harvesting tank system, dry rock swale, rain garden and pollinator garden. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Join the Green Venture team to learn more about stormwater management, how we can manage where rain falls to protect our natural waterways, and gain hands-on experience building and planting green infrastructure. Both days will be hosted at St John's (320 Charlton Ave W, Hamilton, ON L8P 2E7). The  pdf poster is attached. Please pass it on to interested people
