Hearts and Minds: reprise

At our first Hearts and Minds session of the season on Friday Sept 19, Adrian Jacobs, our Indigenous speaker from the Six Nations of the Grand River, mentioned two things that people may like to follow up.

1. NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community (formerly the North American Institute for Indigenous Theological Studies), whose goal is "to develop and instruct from a body of theology and biblical teaching that resonates with the culture and traditions of Indigenous peoples." 2. Daniel Coleman's talk about his new book Grandfather of the Treaties: Finding Our Future Through the Wampum Covenant, which Daniel wrote with input from Haudenosaunee historian Rick Hill. This event, where Daniel, Rick and Adrian will all take part, is on Thursday October 2 at 5.00 p.m. in the Executive Dining Room at Redeemer University, and will be livestreamed for those who'd like to attend virtually.
