Earth Day April 22, 2023

Earth Day will be observed by many Christians around the world. This video is being shared by The Green Churches Network to help us to consider in what ways we value and care for the natural world. Watch in on Earth Day April 22nd with your family if you can (or another day if it suits you better) and ask yourselves what can I do to help care for the earth?

Some ideas:

• Plant a Garden; Grow vegetables for those unable to afford good food; Learn more about wetlands or Communion Forests.
• Eat beef less often and have smaller portions. One third of our CO2 comes from cattle.
• Encourage governments to stop paying huge subsidies to Oil Companies to develop new wells.
• Ask governments to protect wetlands from development.
