Warm congratulations are extended to Judith Purdell-Lewis who will be formally inducted as a member of the Order of Niagara by Bishop Susan Bell at a special upcoming service online service on Sunday, October 4, 2020.
Judith was nominated by our rector in honour of her long service to the parish in various capacities. Judith leads a number of communications initiatives including the production of the weekly Parish News. She was a longstanding member of the Messy Church team. She has served as the coordinator of greeters for the Discovery Service. She is a small group leader. Judith can often be found volunteering at St Matthew's House, or any number of causes in the community, church, and parachurch organizations which are dear to her heart.
The photo was taken by Bishop Susan Bell who personally presented the medalion, pin, and citation at the Purdell-Lews home in anticipation of the upcoming special service.
