Celebration of St John's Day

St John's Day is May 6, with parishes dedicated to St John often observing the feast on the Sunday following. This year, we will be celebrating St John's Day, our patronal festival, on Sunday, May 10. Patronal Festivals are a big deal, so come with all of the joy and celebratory energy you can muster!

There is an ancient tradition of bringing wine and other drinks to receive a special blessing on St John's Day. Why, you ask? Come to church on May 10 and all will be revealed! When you come, bring a bottle of your favourite beverage (wine or otherwise!) to be blessed as part of the celebrations!
