We are collecting items (see below) in boxes in the church foyer; they will be picked up from St John's on Sept 5. Please give generously over the next few days! You can bring your items to Amylynn in the church office on Fri  am or bring them to church on Sunday.

Financial gifts to cover the cost of the lunch are welcome and can also be left at the church in labelled envelopes. Cash or cheque should be payable to ‘All Saints Church’ and earmarked ‘Kenyan’..

E-transfers can be made to allsaints.ham@gmail.com

Over the last month a significant number of asylum seekers from Kenya have arrived in Hamilton. Many have found themselves in shelters and some are left unsheltered.

The diocese, led by Archdeacon Terry DeForest, Rev. Naomi Kabugi, and Rev. Mike Deed, is planning a lunch to offer welcome and support. The lunch will take place on Wednesday 13th September 2023 at 1pm, and will be held at All Saints Mission, 301 King Street West, Hamilton. A couple of volunteers from our parish will attend, help to serve the meal, and introduce our faith community.

Each guest who attends will be provided with a ‘gift bag’ of personal necessities, and so we are asked for donations of:

  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Wet wipes (small packs only)
  • Face towels
  • Reusable grocery bags
  • Reusable water bottles (new only)
  • Protein bars and individually packaged snacks
  • Socks (new only)
  • cold-weather items
    • gloves
    • scarves
    • sweaters
    • winter coats

Thanks be to God for His generosity to us!
