Worship and all other gatherings remain suspended at the Church of Saint John the Evangelist and all other churches in the Diocese of Niagara. Online worship opportunies will be posted elsewhere on this website; check the Events section. We regret to announce that there will be no gathering for worship Palm/Passion Sunday (neither will there be any blessing or distribution of palms), Holy Week, or the Great Triduum of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter. Special Holy Week services will be organized online and the details for those will be found in the Events section of this website when they are known.
On Sundays (and other special times), Bishop Bell will lead a live-streamed time of prayer, complete with a brief homily, beginning at 10AM on the diocesan Facebook page.
The church building is entirely closed for the time being and all parishioners are urged to heed the direction of medical officers of health to remain home as much as possible.
