Hearts and Minds on Friday May 9 hosted three poets from Deborah Bowen’s new anthology Poetry in Place – it was a lovely evening. Elise Arsenault Bird, Renessa Visser, and John Terpstra joined Deborah in talking about how the book came to be, and how poetry and Christian faith can speak to environmental issues; they read some of their poems to a very appreciative audience.
If you missed this event and would like to hear more of the poets read along with these three, there will be a bigger Hamilton launch on Saturday May 24 at 2.00 p.m. at The Gasworks downtown. All are welcome!
