Almost five years ago, our parish and community started organizing to sponsor a refugee family. They arrived in January 2016.
On July 9, 2020, they became Canadian citizens. Their youngest child beat them to it by being born here. in other exciting news from this family, Emad graduated with honours from Mohawk College just a few weeks ago.
