Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this global World Wildlife Fund initiative encourages individuals and businesses to switch off non-essential lights to raise awareness for climate change and nature protection. Residents are encouraged to turn off lights and participate in local community events or, for example, enjoy a "dinner in the dark."
Earth Hour 2026 will take place on Saturday March 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time.
