World Day of Prayer

 On Friday, March 1, 7:00 p.m. the women of Slovenia invite you to join with them in the World Day of Prayer Celebration, praying under the theme, "Come - Everything is Ready".  World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement which brings Christians of many traditions together to observe a common day of prayer each year.  This year, Melrose United Church, 86 Homewood Ave (at Locke Street), will be hosting the World Day of Prayer for our community, followed by a reception.  Please contact Judith Purdell-Lewis judithpl@sympatico.ca or Sue Newbery snewbery55@gmail.com  for more details.
