Wednesday Night Group

The Wednesday night group is for anyone aged from junior high through high school. The group enjoys games, discussions and snacks. The group is led by a number of adult volunteers.

Mentoring

Youth members can ask to be paired with an adult mentor. Mentor and youth meet together on a regular basis to pray, study and encourage one another in their faith.

This year a number of our youth will be travelling with their adult leaders to Charleston, WV for a week of service along the lines our our experience in Cincinnati OH last year, and Raleigh, NC the year before.

As part of these mission experiences our youth , along with three adult leaders, recently travelled to Cincinnati and to Raleigh for a week long adventure helping the underpriviledged in those cities in various capacities. They volunteered seniors homes, clothing depots, thrift shops, food rescue operations, farms and in a number of different areas. Youth also had the opportunity to learn about local culture, attending a rodeo and attending July the Fourth Celebrations and worshipping in a local afro-american churches.

Youth Confirmation

The Rector is currently preparing candidates for confirmation. The confirmation will be held at Christ's Church Cathedral on Sunday afternoon, May 6, 2012, at the hands of The Right Reverend Michael A. Bird, the Bishop of Niagara.
