St. John’s is Blooming!
Spring has definitely come to St. John’s church. Make sure you don’t miss the spirea bushes by the crypt door – their bloom is spectacular this year. And the hedge has undergone a major pruning to allow for much needed rejuvenation. Members of the community walking by have been amazed at the positive change this makes and have been pleased to be able to enjoy our Bridal Veil spirea bushes and other signs of the season. Just another way of being good neighbours and partners in our community!

Parish Leadership Caucus and Annual Calendar Planning Meeting
The date for our Parish Leadership Caucus and Celebration and Annual Calendar Planning Meeting is set now for Tuesday, June 19, 6:00 PM with dinner served at 6:30 PM. This meeting is a time for negotiating the calendar for the upcoming ministry season, so ministry leaders and others are encourage to plan ahead. We find it is much easier to find a good date for an event at this meeting, rather than trying to find a time later when planner of other events may be unaware. The evening normally includes discussion on a topic of interest to all leaders. Please r.s.v.p. to David Anderson.
Sunday, June 3, is "Survey Sunday"
Here at St John's we have used a tool known as "
Natural Church Development" to assist us in growing towards and maintaining excellence in our ministries. Part of the NCD process is an annual survey. Please plan to be in worship on Sunday, June 3 and to stay for a few moments following the service to complete the survey. It is very helpful to have your feedback as we grow together.
